Castle Halloween Drabble

castleland. We needed to write a drabble based on a Halloween picture. This was the image: http://i54.tinypic.com/51vfab.jpg
Here is what I came up with! - It's not very good, but hey, it was worth a try!
Title: It Happens Every Year
Fandom: Castle
Rating: T
It happens every year. Every day for a week leading up to Halloween, a set of bones appears. It’s never the same set of bones, and it’s never the same headstone, but one thing has always been constant; there was never a skull. That is until today. There was also something else that seemed different. The coloring was all wrong; it was more white than cream, bumps and dents that shouldn’t have been there, dark marks that marred the surface. My skin starts to crawl as I pick it up and I turn as white as the skull in my hands. My final thought as the world starts to darken is that this is no Halloween joke…. This is real!
“That so did not happen Castle” Beckett said, taking a sip of her wine and trying her best to stifle a laugh. “I’m telling you, it’s a true story. Trust me” replied Castle with a wink. “With my life, always. But with a horror story – no way in hell. I know you too well.” replied Beckett. With no answer for that, all Castle could do was lean in a wish her a Happy Halloween.
